Urban Zulu - The future of Milan Fashion week

My first encounter with Papi was on a crazy day I was bargain hunting with Mantis. The store right in the heart of Jozi. A thick jungle where only the fittest survive is a ray of of hope and sunshine. An indication that someday we will possess the land.We got into the store, arty cosy, a part of this world one wants to escape to when in need of inspiration. The place is buzzing with creatives.  I fell in love with the bags the kind of craftsmanship that makes you realise what crap "made in china" is.
When He got in the store He had an orange cut it up into 8 pieces and said “An orange shared by 8 people tastes 8 times nicer"

I heared they giving away a free T-shirt with every dress purchased. You can hit two birds with one stone during this season of jolliness and giving.

If you looking for timeless craftsman ship comfort and quality I suggest you get yourself to Urban Zulu. To check them out on facebook follow the link bellow

FACE2FACE.
My 1st encouter with F2F was @ the Kwai Pre Beach Party. I had a chat with Nino 1 of the founding members and this is what He had to say
A brand new unique style.A style that brings flavour to the atmosphere.
FACE2FACE is a group of skilled guyz striving to help put amakasi on a map.
We specialise in mixing colourful, tasty drinks known to all as COCKTAILS.
Not only does f2f mix cocktails,we also shoot some shooters(springbokkies, jellybabies) to name a few. One may ask "y" FACE2FACE-One day the members were chilling, brainstorming, playing along with the mixers till they came up with one amazing long drink.
They all tasted their talent and to their suprise and excitement they felt the same thing. The feeling of another face developed.
The 2nd face.It felt like a perfect feeling and a perfect name.
They since then called themselves FACE2FACE "Making magic with drinks".
The aim is to bring style, class, glamour, fun, entertainment, uniqueness ko kasi.
.F2F caters for weddings, parties, events and functions.

And some of which I know people who are Part of
Some I'v met the warrior souls that started them
That fought tooth and nail
To preserve the dream
Movemnents of Entrepreneurship
Aimed at making tomorrow better
Movements to b counted
In the Reclaiming & Reconstruction of Mzantsi

I hear the growls of my stomach
I feel the pain as ke bodla tlala
Still I must go on
take yet another step
I know I want food
Yet I cnt have food

Cause I cant buy the food
Poverty feels like an eating disorder
The three S's
Seshebo,School fees & Scarftin
My feet long for a pair of Jimmy Chu
I'm not asking for Zillions
A girl just wants to be able to buy shoes shud need arise
mayb even a pie
shud hunger strike
When the old Greats said
With Freedom comes responsibility
It must have included freedom from poverty
So that we don't always remain
Kaffirs in our own land
Adopting foreign habbits
Like eating disorders
As we fight our personal struggles
We can only ask for the Porter
To reshape as it suits

1st Annual Tshwane Beach Party

Woke up that morning, To go give sacrifices of joy.
Felt a thrilling combination of joy and pain @ the same time.
Prayed for permission to take flight
Prayed for Sunshyn
Got there, set up Kwai style
Venue, The combination of the hardness of the rock and the liquidity of the Valley,
A factory for the making of memories
Answered prayers the sun was shinning
Birds were singing
People were arriving, looking kwai as usual

Love birds, Grooverholics, The cream of the crop
Black diamond’s whose entertainment needs were abandoned
The night was danced away the Dj’s were off the hook
The crowd was on their feet
The menu was developed
Demands were made
Most fulfilled some not to our satisfaction
The love humbling
The team love and war @ the same time, to get the work done
The noise was loud
The neighbours complained
The cops came
The party continued
The morning came
The noise died
The sun came out
The family time was priceless
The clouds gathered
The kids had a blast
The injuries happened
The laughter unaffected
The sun went down
Showers of blessings drizzled
The party moved inside
Nkululeko set the dance floor alight
Sing alongs performances and dedications
It was a kwai weekend in deed

Curious and the Bheki Cele Boys (BCB)

So this is what happend to Curious Today
While out and about kinda enjoying one of her allocated 100 lives a day, Curious went out and about to perform some of life's everyday responsibilities, paying bills she thought she should also buy a tin of 'whiskers' as it had been a while, the escapism sometimes gotten from a lick of "whiskers" was needed to look at things from a 5th dimensional view.
Curios went to the bank, then to clicks a cat, needs to treat those pores for doing such a
miraculous job keeping her looking good.
Curious left the cash by "The Slug" ordered her "whiskers", Collected her "whiskers" and indulged
While on about a 3rd lick, Bheki Cele's Boys(BCB)  came, kinda checkin her out
She panicked, then threw away her can of "whiskers",
Then they noticed the guilt on her face and pounced onto her.Obviously had an  an unfair advantage,
searched her even her purse to count how much money she had, so that she could not cry and use the girl card, After all Curious hates playing the Denzel in distress it patronises her,
So they took her inside the van forced her to name her dealer, She lied and said she got it from Thaana Bantu but they interrogated her till she had to confess it was Pick’ n Pay she was getting it from.
They told her that it was a crime to indulge in a tin of "whiskers" in broad day light especially not in the burbs.
The moment of truth had arrived, Curious had to point Pick’ n Pay before she could even point him out One of Bheki Cele's boys said Oh Mr Ackerman, She did not even relate to him on a first name basis to her He was just the dealer. BCB 1 asked Mr Ackerman questions about his stock and who He got it from. Mr Ackerman explained how he and 'Cats' Agents' were distributing "whiskers" and how much each of them were getting for the sale.
Mr Ackerman suggested that Curious should pay Tjotjo (Bribe) but She really did not want to what mattered most to her would be lesson of learning that delicacies such as whiskers were only to be enjoyed in private because the BCB's wanted them all to themselves, you could even be fined up to R500.00 if found in possession.
To make the charges look even more serious the popped into the nearest Restaurant where they requested the Chef to weigh the half tin of whiskers so that they would have enough evidence to open a docket against her.
While on the way back from the Restaurant to Mr Ackerman they locked her at the back of the van so that Mr Ackerman could negotiate on their behalf.
She overhead one saying "ke batla go montsha nkane"the type of testosterone that doesn’t not take rejection very well.
From the back of a van she negotiated a R150.00 fine, They wanted all of it as if it’s not enough they have a cut from the 'whiskers' Bullied by the mafia system she felt she kinda deserved it for being so wreck less and irresponsible.
BCW were looking to fill their tummies as well the law was breaking itself in order to mend society.
The lesson was learned but was the corruption necessary. Or is it a way for the BCB to benefit a piece of the corruption as this was the trickle from the top.
The public humiliation was worse everybody was looking, A least she did not sell ass to be free.
The refused the R150.00 until a friend of one of the BCB came peeked at Curious and negotiated her freedom for her numbers.
She was really pulled out from the miry clay, She also remembered that it was unwise to throw yourself in front of a moving train and ask to be saved.
She had to save her life, the decision she needed to make was to keep indulging in 'whiskers' or just quit. The price was too high, then again the law says it should be done in private, at least that what she thought she heard from one of the BCB.
She wondered how it would have turned out if Lab had been there, "we probably be in the cells or maybe on our way to Dubai" she thought as she gathered the 999 lives she still had to go through on that day.Being a curious cat is hard work she thought as she swiftly walked towards her next adventure of the day.
